Money comes and goes, fancy cars break down, but legacies live on.
Day 26: Future Me
Yesterday felt like my birthday or Christmas. So many of you showered me with gifts of love and support. Thank you… thank you… thank you…
Throughout this journey, I’ve seen each of us play the role of both student and teacher in this sacred circle. Wisdom lives in us all. We can see things for other people. And the circle reflects things back to us. Slowly we realize that what we see for others, we can see for ourselves as well. The circle becomes richer as we both reveal and witness… each person on their individual journey toward the highest expression of their Divine Self.
I feel proud to have brought this sacred circle together. My desire is for more.
Let It Be My Legacy
As I’ve been imagining my Ideal Life this week, the ’stuff of life’ has taken a back seat. Yes, I love fine things. But, that’s not what fuels me. My riches have more to do with building a legacy of love versus building a home of stuff. In fact, I keep having this daydream. It’s only a few visuals. A beautiful woman dressed in a flowy white pant suit sits on her outdoor patio. Her posture tall, her face kind and gentle. She writes with long strokes in a journal — burgundy ink forms words on the page. She is me… many moons from now. I imagine what she writes on those pages, knowing that young, eager minds await her words. She has become a figure for inner peace and outer expression of creative love.
Imagine you are sitting in your favourite spot in nature many moons from now. In your hands, a golden pen and well-journeyed journal. You leave this book for the children that follow you. They too look up to you. Your wisdom has the power to fuel many hearts.
What do you say? What is important to share? What life lessons do you leave?
If we could keep one eye on this visual as we lived our daily life I think we’d stay in touch with our true riches. If any time something bothered us in the day, we could ask “Will this be important in 1 month? 5 years? 20 years?” so many things would drop to the sidelines. If we start to visualize the legacy of our life and ensure that each day we live just a small part of it, then we’ll become very rich people.
Don’t you think? Money comes and goes, fancy cars break down, but legacies (like our souls) live on…
Future Me… Who will I be?
At the start of this week, I asked you to think about your Ideal Life. Today we place our order with the Universe. There’s a simple tool called FutureMe.org that allows you to send yourself an email in the future. It must be at least 90 days into the future. But I suggest you pick an even longer time frame — a year or more. What do you say? Maybe you capture a snapshot of your Ideal Life. Maybe you’ve been inspired by today’s Daily Reflection to write about the legacy you are living into. The contents matter not. What’s important (and exciting) is your intention to send this out into the world with vibrant energy, knowing that as you do, you begin a spiraling vortex of attraction. (Hence the reason, twirling is so important around the full moon… so twirl today… OK?)
And then some day in the future, when you least expect it, you’ll get this email back to you. The timing will be synchronisitic and significant. There are no ‘ordinary days’, my friends, just ‘ordinary miracle’ days.
Any questions? Just ask. Then go to FutureMe.org to send your email. What fun!
P.S. The flowy white pant suit in my daydream is significant. It’s the blend of female (flowy white) and male (pant suit) energies. Let your legacy honour all of you.
